I am an independent digital marketing consultant in the beauty industry. I also write guest blogs for various websites to share my thoughts with readers. Thinking about writing a blog is just one of those things that everyone thinks about but few people ever act on. The reality is that they are right there, at your fingertips, waiting for you to just show up and do them. For me, writing has always been a passion that I have followed even before I knew it. When I was young, I used to write poems for my friends. You can never be sure of what is going to come out of your pen but there's nothing like the feel of getting something written down and reading the words back to yourself. "Life is like a camera. I decided to pursue beauty blogging as my skills were beginning to become better known in my field after working with clients for over five years; but then again it was also because travelling has always been one of my hobbies and blogs are all about sharing information (and photos). I am a mother of two and I am based in Bangalore, India. I am also a European and African travel guide. That more than anything else made me feel like my ambition was lacking in some way or the other. I admired and respected Laurie Ives-Manning for many years and it had been on my mind to write a guest blog on her blog for a long time. It felt like the right time to make this dream come true and I am proud to be one of her first guests.I got the weirdest feeling on September 30, 2014. The night before I wrote about being proud of being a blogger in the past, but today what I am most proud of is being a mom even though there were times when it didn't feel that way.
